Credibility through evidence

Shumbajena is an independent, self-paced programme. We describe what learners study and what the assessment evidence demonstrates. We do not claim accreditation, accredited-degree equivalence or a licence to practise clinically.

The curriculum

Fifteen modules cover human biology, plasma physics and electrical engineering over 240 weeks. Each module has sixteen weeks, an integrated project and a completion record. Supporting maths, chemistry, coding and measurement skills are introduced where needed. The weekly budget is 16 hours of readings and practical work plus four hours of checks and correction: 4,800 planned hours in total. The estimates allow different reading speeds; they are not a promise of mastery by elapsed time.

Experiments and certificates

The programme prioritises direct, non-interventional observation of the learner’s body, beginning with optical pulse measurements and progressing to intended body-recording systems and signal analysis. Bench references support calibration and fault testing; models explain internal quantities that cannot be observed non-invasively. Added source-linked lessons address tissue properties, electrode interfaces, isolation, field coupling and uncertainty. These lessons do not establish a universal safe voltage or validate a learner-built device for bodily exposure.

The first eight weeks retain graded subject quizzes. Later weekly subject checks are self-assessed. Every module has a graded eight-question integration check, with linked source pages and an 80% target (seven correct answers). Quiz scores are saved separately from practical self-reports.

A module certificate requires sixteen completed weekly checklists, a passed module check and an attested project record explaining the method, result and limitations. The certificate explicitly records automated knowledge assessment and learner-supplied practical evidence. No independent examination of the experiment or accreditation is claimed. It is a certificate of module completion, not a clinical qualification.

The B04 assessment pilot

Eight capabilities cover membranes, transport, osmosis, trafficking, organelles, cytoskeleton, microscopy and interpretation of evidence. Each has linked source pages, an explanation and a worked example. A prior-learning check can demonstrate the first stage; a separate application check and a recall check at least seven days later provide further evidence.

Scored checks use selected responses and numeric answers with explicit tolerances. Each short check requires both answers correct. Practice and AI feedback on written explanations do not award mastery. The limited bank records repeated items, and all attempts retain their version and date. Learners can report questions and privately export their evidence.

AI and quality control

The fifteen module practice guides and B04 study guides are AI-authored explanations grounded in the named textbooks. They are provided under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with source attribution in each capability. Optional live AI hints and rubric feedback require a learner’s own attempt and consent to send it to the provider. Availability is shown in the application; model feedback is fallible and is not a credentialing decision.

The pilot has automated checks for numeric grading, progression, the elapsed-time gate, private records and source coverage. These are software and coverage checks, not evidence of educational equivalence. We have not yet measured learning gains, long-term retention, grading agreement against an independent expert benchmark, or false-pass and false-fail rates in a learner cohort.

Evidence, hypotheses and participant care

Established biological and physical knowledge should be distinguished from hypotheses about biofield effects and mechanisms. Curriculum completion does not demonstrate a therapeutic effect. Participant research needs its own protocols, consent and appropriate ethical and clinical oversight. Optional evaluation of the learning platform is distinct from participation in biofield research.
